Apartment Attendant

Job Summary:

Requires a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to excelence for the care of the fine details. This role is vital to the company's success and involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to the exterior of the apartment community and its amenities. Creating and maintaining exce lent curb appeal for the property is a key role for this position. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Practice, train and implement company policies, especia ly those relating to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Administration) standards 

● Walk the property daily to clean the leasing office, tour path, model apartments, laundry rooms, recreation rooms, elevators, stairwe ls, pools, amenities and ensure general curb appeal of the community is pleasing to a l five senses and is impeccably clean. 

● Performs cleaning and removal of trash and other debris including but not limited to pet deposits, cigarette butts, emptying trash cans in common areas, pet stations, debris from around the dumpster area as we l as vacant units. 

● Wash common area windows and screens, curbs, entrances, sidewalks, pool decks and furniture and other surfaces as needed. 

● Clean light fixtures and replace light bulbs in common areas. 

● Regularly upkeep the entire community including vacuuming halway areas. 

● Monitor building by locking doors after operation hours. 

● Adheres to the policies and procedures manuals. 

● Performs al other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:

● Basic written and verbal communication skils 

● May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays 

Preferred Qualifications:

● High School Diploma 

● Some housekeeping experience in a hotel environment 

● Bilingual (English/Spanish) 

Physical Requirements:

● Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility 

● Ability to carry, push, move and lift large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds and pu ling up to 20 pounds 

● Ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, walking, repetitive bending, and other physical activities
